The story of Maryland's three southern counties is really the story of the beginnings of the state itself. On March 25, 1634, the first European settlers came to the area in hopes of finding religious freedom northwest allen county schools and economic opportunities. Led by Leonard Calvert, the group landed on an island in the Potomac River northwest allen county schools and then settled on the mainland. This is the third book in a series about Maryland's counties that is designed for elementary school children studying their state. Holly

Located in the far northwest hills of Oakland County, Holly is a vibrant community with a rich cultural heritage rooted in commerce northwest allen county schools and transportation. In 1864, it became the first Michigan community with a railroad junction, called the Holly northwest allen county schools and Flint line.
